Dr. Martin Martino, MD, MBA, will be competing in ISE’s First International Champions League Event at the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery (SERGS) 2026 Annual Meeting taking place May 28–30, 2026, in Stockholm, Sweden.

The event features a unique head-to-head challenge between internationally recognized robotic surgeons and professional esports athletes from Sweden’s renowned Johnny Speeds organization. The competition explores an emerging question in surgical innovation and performance science: Can elite gaming skills translate into surgical precision and robotic excellence?

Using advanced robotic surgical simulators, participants competed in precision-based technical challenges designed to test dexterity, reaction time, spatial awareness, and console performance under pressure.

In addition, Dr. Martino’s will be a featured speaker at SERGS 2026, which brings together global leaders in robotic gynecologic surgery to showcase advancements in minimally invasive techniques, surgical education, innovation, and technology integration. His participation highlights his continued leadership in robotic surgery, surgical education, and innovation at the intersection of medicine, technology, and performance training.
